From the 24th of March, 2022, the new domain name extension .AU will be available for you to register right here at diskmandotnet as a semi-managed service.
.au is the all-new direct domain name extension for the Australian domain namespace. It will allow any business, organisation or individual with a connection to Australia the ability to register a .au direct domain name, like mybusiness.au. for their business, product range, personal use.
To take advantage of the priority registration, it’s really important to understand so we’ve explained it in more detail below (check the auDA links) but in short, if you already own the exact match for your domain name eg businessname.com.au then you will be allowed with priority to register mybusiness.au. There will be an issue if for example, someone else owns mybusiness.net.au as you will both qualify to register the new extension.
So get onto it ASAP!!!

PRIORITY REGISTRATIONS
When .au direct names launch on the 24th of March 2022, registrants with existing .au domain names (ending in com.au, net.au, org.au, asn.au) will have the chance to apply for Priority Status. This status will allow existing .au domain holders to register the exact match of their domain name with .au. The Priority Status application period will run for six months to ensure .au holders have enough time to register their direct au domain.
Note: unsuccessful contested domain name lodgements are non-refundable.
