James

Founder, Owner, Business Development, Programmer, Photographer

James

James founded the The Disk Man back in 1993 by selling floppy disks door to door (more about that here), since then he’s grown the business into a successful and ongoing concern. In the year 2000, The DISKMAN became DISKMANdotNet which is a network of servers (of course) but more importantly of people, thoughts and ideas. Through trial and error, through good times and tough times, he has ensured the survival of his vision which was/is to create a self-perpetuating business which will grow and prosper for many years forward. His primary role is to establish new relationships with clients, project manage and assist the DISKMANdotNet team to deliver their projects.

James loves sports, music and super heroes. If it wasn’t so weird to wear a blue lycra suit with red boots and a cape in public he certainly would!

Ravi

Web Development & Programming

Ravi

Ravi never wanted to become computer programmer although he was interested in that path to an extent; his passion was to become a teacher. A close friend convinced him to explore a degree in Electronics which could be later applied to teaching if he so wished. He graduated with B.sc (Electronics). Following that, Ravi then went on to earn another degree this time as Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A) which led him down the path of web development (php, sql, html, javascript, jquery). Naturally programming then become a major component of his day to day life and now has more than 4 years of web development experience in PHP and WordPress. In early 2014 Ravi joined DISKMANdotNet as a programmer and is a proud team member.

Ravi is very fun loving, has a wicked sense of humor and loves his cricket.
