Founder, Owner, Business Development, Programmer, Photographer
James founded the The Disk Man back in 1993 by selling floppy disks door to door (more about that here), since then he’s grown the business into a successful and ongoing concern. In the year 2000, The DISKMAN became DISKMANdotNet which is a network of servers (of course) but more importantly of people, thoughts and ideas. Through trial and error, through good times and tough times, he has ensured the survival of his vision which was/is to create a self-perpetuating business which will grow and prosper for many years forward. His primary role is to establish new relationships with clients, project manage and assist the DISKMANdotNet team to deliver their projects.
James loves sports, music and super heroes. If it wasn’t so weird to wear a blue lycra suit with red boots and a cape in public he certainly would!

Web Development & Programming
Lindy’s web journey began over 17 years ago when she volunteered her time to create an online presence for the inaugural Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Australia (JDRF) web site which she won an award for and the International Firefighters’ Day web site which she still manages to this day. The response to these websites was incredible and, through encouragement from friends and family, web development and programming became a passion which has since become her full time work. Lindy’s care and attention to detail are the main reasons for her appointment with DISKMANdotNet. Lindy has designed and/or developed a number of web sites whilst in her primary role with us as a WordPress Designer and Development.
Lindy loves family weekends at the bay, and long drives in search of the perfect coffee!
Search Engine Optimisation, Web Developer
Elliot is our resident SEO guru. He runs Temerity Concepts, his own business, specialising in SEO and Web Development. Elliot has worked alongside us on many projects since early 2000 and because he’s clever, willing to learn and share and is always willing to go that extra mile, we continue helping each other add value to each other’s business. Crafting and honing his skills in web development and search engine optimisation over several years, he has become an invaluable asset to DISKMANdotNet and our clients. His ability to identify and execute masterful SEO plans for our clients’ web sites brings the polish to the sites we build. We regularly call upon him, sometimes on a daily basis, to ask for advice on setting up web sites to maximise the initial impact of our clients’ online presence. With enthusiastic confidence, we have recommended several of our clients to contract Elliot to manage their on going SEO; most of which have been extremely successful.
He’s a funny guy, with a great sense of humour and very personable. He’s a basketball freak (loves his NBA) with a passion for Essendon in the AFL.
